ALLIED HEALTH TECHNICAL COURSES

The Allied Health Technical Courses - AHTC is the official umbrella of the Dr. Carlos S. Lanting College which consists of the Midwifery Department, Dental Technician, Health Aide and the Caregiver Departments.

The Objectives of the AHTC are the following

To Provide high standard quality education to students.
To equip the students with teh necessary Skills, Knowledge and right Attitude.
To protect the interest and welfare to the AHTC students.
To encourage foster active students participation in the different school activitiesfor the enhancement of their total educational , socio cultural and spiritual advancement.
TO implement and adhere to all DCLC's governing rules and regulations.

MISSION

The AHTC is responsible to fulfill the needs of the students to attain good quality education and aims to develop the necessary skills, capabilities, good and right attitude necessary to deliver the basic health care in the society.

VISION

AHTC students are fully equipped with knowledge, professional expertise and excellence in their own filed of chosen career, and can withstand the challenges within local and global futuristic standards.

MIDWIFERY

MIDWIFERY- a branch of medical science that deals with services requiring an understanding of the principles and application of procedures and techniques in the supervision and care of women during pregnancy, labor and puerperium, management of normal deliveries, care of newborn and children, and involvement in the community works.

MIDWIFERY is considered a very noble profession, God called the midwives to complete his greatest miracle, and that is the delivery if his human creation. Experience that feeling of joy and excitementbeing the very first one to see the newborn angel.!

Midwifery offers a great job opportunity locally and globally. You can even work and earn while at home.!

CAREGIVER

CAREGIVER a professional health assistant who possesses effective interpersonalcommunication skilland knowledge. Has the right attitude, demonstrate the ability to assume responsibility without supervision, exercises good personal hygine, good values, and makes decision within the scope of assigned authority. A caregiver is a special intrument of god in touching special human lives like the elderly, disable and the special children.

Caregiver is now considered the easiest way to earn a living here in the philipines but most specially abroad..

Dr.Carlos S. Lanting Collage is proud to say that our caregiver graduates pass the TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) compretency examinations for caregivers 99-100%, making them more competent in their own field of expertise.
