A One (1) day curriculum enrichment program of CME held at RPR Slipways and Ship Lift Systems, Inc. participated by first year BSMT and BSMarE
students to enhance their knowledge in ship building and repair.
BASIC SAFETY TRAINING (BST) a.k.a (SOLAS)
A three (3) days outside activity in compliance with CHED/STCW regulations with participants drawn from first year BSMT and BSMarE students to gain practical
knowledge in first aid, personal survival and technique, fire fighting and personal safety and social resposibility. This training is one of the
requirements for issuance of Seaman's Book
SHIPBOARD/ ON THE JOB TRAINING (OJT)
A seven (7) days curriculum enrichment program of CME conducted onboard domestic vessel with participants from 2nd year and 3rd year CME students
with BST Certificate, for them to be familiar with the bridge and engine watchkeeping, nature of work onboard, ship's parts, machineries, equipments and
experience actual sailing at sea under supervision of shipboard training officers and accompanying instructors.
